At Beargrass, we love babies and children! Under the direction of Dodi Hance, we provide an excellent nursery and child care during all worship services and major church events. Compassionate and committed church members serve as Sunday School teachers for older children. Steven Straub and Meg Blackwell lead outstanding faith development and music programs on Sunday and Wednesday evenings during the school year. During the summer some of the highlights include Vacation Bible School, church camps, and special outings. Throughout the year we seek to minister to the whole family–and provide “family friendly” scheduling. If you’d like to find out more about our children’s programs click here for a video.

We look forward to your children participating in one or more of our exciting programs. Beargrass firmly believes that children play a vital role in the life of the church; thus, the church strives to offer a variety of educational, faith-building, and fun activities to meet the needs of all children. All of our programs are designed to help children grow in their faith wherever they find themselves on their spiritual journey. Furthermore, we offer opportunities for kids to just be kids and allow them the opportunity to get to know each other outside of the traditional worship setting.
