Hello Beargrass Families,
We are looking forward to hosting another outdoor worship service this weekend (this will be in addition to our regular live-streamed Sunday morning worship). The outdoor service will be held at 6:30 pm on Sunday, October 4 in the parking lot behind the Cornerstone building. Our worship will focus on Psalm 146, and we will be thinking about offering our prayer and praise to God in these unusual times.
In order to ensure we have enough pre-packaged communion supplies ready for the evening, we are asking people to please sign up for the service. For families – please sign up as a family unit and indicate how many people from your family will be present, i.e. Jones (3) or Smith (6). Childcare is not available for this service, but children are welcome to sit with their families. Spaces will be marked off to keep families socially distant, so if multiple generations of a family will be sitting together, please sign up as one family unit.
Please remember guidelines that we need to follow to have a safe worship gathering:
- Everyone will remain masked throughout the service
- Bring your own chairs
- Please keep at least 6 feet from other family units
For our offering, we will again be collecting some requested items for St. MAM. They were so grateful last month, and their needs continue during the pandemic. When you arrive, you can put your donation directly in the church van, and the items will be delivered to St. MAM next week. Specific needs at this time include:
Ramen Noodles, Mashed Potato packages, small boxes/bags of Sugar, Spaghetti Sauce and Noodles, Paper Towels/Toilet Paper/Kleenex, Diced Tomatoes, and Quaker Gluten Free Oats.
We look forward to gathering outdoors with you for a service of prayer and praise this weekend. Please feel free to contact the associate ministers with any questions.
