(Disciples of Christ)
a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world

What to Expect

Warm Welcome
Our volunteers are happy to assist you by answering questions and offer directions. On Sunday you may detect the aroma of fresh coffee brewing in our Gathering Space. In between services, please join us for a cup of coffee and conversation. Clothing styles vary from casual to formal – but we accept God’s invitation to “come as we are!”

Uplifting Worship
The messages focus more on love than law, more on grace than guilt, more on joy than judgment. All of our services include inspiring music, opportunities for prayer and meditation, a meaningful message, and a celebration of communion that is open to all people.

Safe quality childcare is available on our ARK (Always Reaching Kids) wing for children kindergarten age and under.

During the 9 am contemporary service, children in grades 1–3 are invited to participate in Children Worship and Wonder in room 214 following the children’s moment.

During the 11 am traditional service, children in

grades 1–4 are led by the Children’s Ministry Director to room 213 for their own worship experience following the children’s moment. Parents or grandparents are expected to pick up their children immediately following the service.

Easily Accessible Location
We are conveniently located at 4100 Shelbyville Road at the corner of Browns Lane in St. Matthews. Although the parking lot may appear to be crowded at times, we are on wonderful terms with our neighbors. There are parking places available within walking distance all around the church campus. On Sunday a policeman is present to assist people who are crossing Shelbyville Road. If you attend the Saturday service, park on the west side of the building near the chapel.
