About Pedal Power
Pedal Power Ministry empowers individuals across Louisville by providing refurbished bikes to those in need of reliable transportation. Since 2013, our dedicated volunteers have delivered close to 8,500 bikes, with an average of 850 bikes distributed each year. Our mission is supported by partnerships with local nonprofits and organizations, including Community Ministries, Homeless Ministries, Prison Resettlement Services, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, and Greater Louisville YMCA.
Our team includes a skilled repair group, who bring expertise in bicycle maintenance and a passion for service, and a social media team, who actively share the Pedal Power message within our community. Together, we’re making a difference—one bike at a time.
