David is a can-do leader who makes sure our facilities are clean, in compliance with legal standards, and setups for meetings are seamless. David comes to Beargrass with a long leadership background in facilities and operations. He aptly describes himself as “Mr. Fix-It”. David is focused on planning and the detailed schedule on his white board and computer screen let him and his team stay on top of the many elements that impact our facilities and operations. He is proud of his team—John Chambliss and Lilibeth Chavez—and the excellent commitment they have to Beargrass.
A man for all seasons, David has a degree in horticulture and loves gardening and landscaping. David says he raises the best tomatoes in this area. He loves fishing and can tell fish tales with the best of them. David has three daughters and is a loving PawPaw to four grandchildren.
David prides himself on being the consummate professional and is very dedicated to his job, his team, and to the Beargrass family. He said his favorite memory at Beargrass is building Trey’s office from scratch—a place where Trey can put in the valuable “thinking and planning time” that senior ministers need and where Dr. Flowers writes his sermons.
