A heartfelt shoutout to Mike Rademaker for his generous donation of Karyn’s extensive children’s book collection. These beloved books will enrich our main collection, stock the Little Free Library in front of the Chapel, and serve as prizes for our ongoing reading incentive program for kids. About the Library/History Ministry Team
This Ministry Team oversees the Beargrass’s Library by collecting, organizing, and issuing media (books, audio-visual, etc.). The team seeks to find ways to promote and encourage use of the library, ensures the appropriateness of all media, and maintains proper accounting and whereabouts of all media. They maintain an inventory system and continuously purge and purchase media as necessary. Additionally, this team perpetuates the recorded history of Beargrass and sends any appropriate historical documents to the Disciples of Christ Historical Society Archives.
