Calling All Book Lovers and Puzzle Enthusiasts!

Fantastic additions from your favorite library at Beargrass:

We’ve just added a treasure trove of new books, including the latest Caldecott and Newbery Medal winners for kids. Your favorite authors are here too—dive into new releases by John Grisham, Kristin Hannah, Anne Lamott, and Nicholas Sparks. Plus, we’ve curated a special collection of Juneteenth books for readers of all ages!

But wait, there’s more! After an amazing puzzle exchange at the St. Matthews Library, we now have a slew of new jigsaw puzzles for you to enjoy. No need to check them out—just borrow one, have fun, and return it when you’re done. Puzzle power!

A heartfelt shoutout to Mike Rademaker for his generous donation of Karyn’s extensive children’s book collection. These beloved books will enrich our main collection, stock the Little Free Library in front of the Chapel, and serve as prizes for our ongoing reading incentive program for kids. Your generosity is truly appreciated, Mike!

Remember, the library is always open! Come on in, explore our latest additions, and check out your favorites by signing your first and last name on the card in the back pocket and leaving it on the desk.
Happy reading and puzzling, everyone!

About the Library/History Ministry Team
This Ministry Team oversees the Beargrass’s Library by collecting, organizing, and issuing media (books, audio-visual, etc.). The team seeks to find ways to promote and encourage use of the library, ensures the appropriateness of all media, and maintains proper accounting and whereabouts of all media. They maintain an inventory system and continuously purge and purchase media as necessary. Additionally, this team perpetuates the recorded history of Beargrass and sends any appropriate historical documents to the Disciples of Christ Historical Society Archives.
