Beargrass has been able to expand our Ministry Operations Coordinator position to a full-time role which will be filled by the wonderful and talented Joy Rueff who most recently served on the staff within Louisville Area Community Ministries. As a core part of the Beargrass staff team, Joy will assist both our ministers and ministry programs for long-range planning and advanced organization to make events meaningful and successful. You’ll be able to welcome Joy at Beargrass as she works here on Sunday mornings and then in the office from 8:30am-5:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Joy has over 10 years of experience in office management and administration, event planning, project management, customer service, fundraising, and implementing processes.  She has strong communication, customer service, organizational, analysis, leadership skills, and has served as assistant director of large annual community events. Joy’s strong faith life is very important and working in her ministry serving community awareness. It is a true joy to welcome Joy to our team!

Hello, Beargrass!

A bit about me – I am an artist with a passion for church ministry. The ‘backpack’ I carry holds a few art supplies, a calendar, fingerless gloves (as I am usually cold but need to type), ponytail holders, and a great book to read. My work background is dynamic; I consider myself lucky and grateful that the adventurous path I’ve been on has guided me to Beargrass.  My academic background is in Art Therapy and Psychology with an emphasis in Religious Studies.
