Mission Board Meeting Update: Our Mission Board met Monday April 15th to continue thinking about and planning our Ministry Team work for the rest of the year. We used a critical eye to revise our team descriptions, revisiting the goals set for each team last fall during budget season, and then determined Big Rocks, or major priorities, for the rest of 2024.
As teams collaborated and then shared with the entire Mission Board, we quickly realized that many of our Big Rocks involve multiple Ministry Teams. For example, the Health Ministry Team is interested in participating in the Farmers Market at some point this year. How cool is that?
It is becoming more and more evident how interrelated our ministries at Beargrass are. With our new Mission Board and Ministry Team Night structures, we are able to discover these like-priorities and make connections so quickly.
