Monday, May 20, 2024 was our second Ministry Team Night, and it was fantastic! 

Teams met, dreamed, planned, and made connections with other ministries throughout Beargrass.  During our Mission Meal, we reflected on why we chose various ministries to be a part of, and also began exploring the Big Rocks that each group has for this calendar year. 

Rev. Steven Straub helped us reflect on Matthew 7:24-27 by highlighting how our Big Rocks are the foundation to bring our Mission and Vision to life at Beargrass.  He even led us in one of the Melody Makers classic songs, The Wise Man and the Foolish Man:
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
The wise man built his house upon the rock,
And the rains came tumbling down.

The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
The rains came down and the floods came up,
But the house on the rock stood firm.
