Hello, Beargrass Christian Church! It is my honor to join the community as the Financial Director.

I am a native of Kentucky, but lived in Arizona most of my life when my father’s job moved us there when I was a child. Aft er the loss of my father in 2021, my husband and I began the process of moving to Kentucky to be closer to my family. I hold a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

I found my passion for nonprofit accounting when I began working for a small charter school in Tempe, Arizona as its Office Manager. My philosophy as an accountant is it is my job to ensure the place has the funds needed to serve its community. Since beginning my nonprofit accounting journey approximately 17 years ago, it has been my privilege with work with several nonprofits, including schools, behavior health facilities, and, most recently, a domestic violence shelter.

My other passion is film and I consider myself a cinephile. To me, film, like any other type of art form, can not only entertain, but can help us through difficult times. While in Phoenix, I worked as a bookkeeper for an independent movie theater and also got to host many events. In 2023, I was able to introduce a 4K restoration of one of my favorite films, GIANT (1956). It was wonderful to share this experience with an audience and see the film on the big screen.
